Expressive
- Begins to use verb contraction
- Dysfluencies are common
- Rapid vocabulary expansion (900 words)
- Uses simple sentences
- Increase in Grammatical Skills (simple past tense, present progressive verb form, plurals, possessives, adjectives, prepositional phrases)
- Asks questions
- Tells about immediate experiences
- Can ID objects by name and use
- Knows a few rhymes
- Can repeat 3 digits
- 90% of speech understandable
